The council is responsible for the overall development and administration of the Saskatchewan Games Program within Zone 4. Areas of involvement include; sport development, play down & selection camps in coordination with the respective Provincial Sport Governing Body, promotion, walk-on uniforms, transportation to and from the games, supervision of athletes while attending the games. The Games alternate every 2 years between Winter and Summer.
